When I lived in Ohio I referred to the local fauna as fieldlillies out of respect to actual hillbillies who had to develop their own ways and means due to extreme geographic isolation and not willfull ignorance and a self identity derived from corporate brands sold at a big box Bass Pro Shop.

Also worth saying that a prosecutor is not the same as a cop, although a prosecutor without the support of the police will be ineffective. When there where all the police violence protests in seattle the prosecutor dropped all the BS charges for people the cops had arrested during the protests. The the police retaliated by refusing to respond to 911 calls in certain neighborhoods.

Tricky business having to work with organized criminals to convict organized criminals.
