Haven't used this sight before but was wondering if any body knew if the gate at Ranger Creek is open for shuttling?

You can drive up road 72, a 10 mile very nice forest road, can take any rig. Once you get to trail head 1 mile climb to the ranger creek trail than it is 7 miles of some of the sweetest downhill single track I have ridden. We have been getting up there after work a couple of times a week. Trail all to ourselves. Road 7174 is only a 6 mile shuttle but is a rougher road and takes as long to get to the top.

Taking a right at the shelter at Palisaides is a fun descent too, but you have a little bit of climbing, and you have some hike a bike close to the bottom. But still very much worth it, especially if you're shuttling it more than once, mix it up a bit.
