With the fade it was $79 for all of that.Changleen said:What sort of $$$s are we talking here?
It's type II ano, nickle sealed and we use a #7 dye on our stuff on the uv resistant chart. Most places use #4 which fades after 2-3 years, Its a thin dye it,s cheaper and it dyes quicker. We don't use thin dyes due to the fact that alot of our stuff is used by the military, aerospace, laser systems, surveillance equiptment and alpine archery.bikenweed said:Yeah, how much does that kinda stuff cost? How durable is it?
Probably not a good idea to post prices on bro deals. Gives people an unrealistic expectation of what it's going to cost them.bullcrew said:He runs an LBS so he got bro deal.
And I get cost on stuff I need.

Funny? The guy that owns Alpine owns us (Travis). In fact, they do so much of our custom machined trinkets you have probably worked on some of our stuff too.bullcrew said:...and alpine archery.
Mad props bro,,, I feel the same way. I was polishing for an ano shop in the late 80's and got to do some of my own stuff. You should have heard them giving me a bunch of crap when I was making a rack for my flashlight,,,"you don't need a hook at both ends" or when I was splashing acid on a perfectly colored part then applying another couler,,,"you can't do that" yea whatever.bullcrew said:I prefer to test the limits of whats possible in any business custom wise.
I will gladly do a custom projects for now at bro deals, It's alot more intresting and gratifying.
Plus there's too many ano shops that are not willing to push the envelope in custom work, they just zap and dye. There is so many posabilities in ano work that we find all sorts of area's that can be improved and made better over industry standards.
