Reaper Madness: Qualifier 1 for Downhill Nationals at Bootleg Canyon, Feb. 18-19
The Reaper Madness Super D & Downhill Races @ Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City, Nevada will be the first qualifier in 2012 for the Nationals! Both the sd and the dh races will be professionally timed by CJ Sports timing! There will be a $2,000.00 cash purse for the pros and prizes for all amateur categories placing 1st thru 3rd.
This year the dh race course will be Armageddon to Reaper. The Reaper finish has been requested by Boulder City locals for years now. This course will be super fun for racers, and the spectators will be able to see the racers for the last mile of their dh run! No joke as Reaper stays on the top of open ridges!
Super D course will be Boyscout- Girlscout- Lower Lake View to the Reaper finish.
As always we will have a chainless dh race after the main event. Also, watch for a open category. This should eliminate some possible sandbagging.
