Ok... I get a lot of ghost shifting on my bike. I have a nice loop in the cable house to hopefully allow some give so the cable doesn't go to loose when the rear triangle is moving up.

I'm looking for some hints or ideas to help get the ghost out of my rear der.

I knew I left myself wide open with that ghost remark.

I have a loop to add some give to the system but It seems like it either isn't enough or it's to much. Also the way that I'm supposed to route the cable isn't the greatest either but I don't have many other options.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll have to go look at it more closely.

You really think so?
I tried it with the housing cut to fit pretty well and when the rear triangle was compressed down it ended up leaving a lot of slack in the cable that runs exposed above the top tube.

I second that. On my FSR, I once left the section of housing that bridges from the main frame to the seat stays nice and long to allow for movement. Wrong move. With a minimal amount of bow, everything was fine.
