I finally figured out how simple rear derrailleurs actually are. What can I do to keep my 105 on my chameleon from hitting the frame. It's probably not hurting anything, but any time I bunnyhop or jump, I hear a really annoying clunk...
cut off a small piece of an old inner tube and zip tie it to the frame where it is hitting. Conversely you can also zip tie it to your derailler to, just be careful that it doesn't interfere with the range of motion when shifting.
I used to get this problem all the time w/ shimano stuff. In a few instances, it was because the b spring in the derailler needed to be replaced. Since I've switched to SRAM, nada. The design of the derailler makes it impossible.
You just need to remove spring in derrailleur's case right on axle that fixes derrailleur on derrailleur hanger. Then assemble all parts back and tighten derrailleur on derrailleur hanger real tight. I running both of my XT's such way and everything is just fine.
That's the my advice... if it's topical so far. x)

I actually tried that. It sucked.... Now I can't get the fvcking spring/collar back together.
edit: After trying to put it back together for 45min, I had an idea... I put a washer under the bolt head w/o the spring or collar that is impossible to compress down and rotate and get the clip in. I haven't ridden it yet since it's 4am, but it's shifting perfectly and not hitting the dropout!
