I have recently upgraded the brakes and wheels on my Trance and would like to move the old brakes and wheels to my wife's '98 Trek 8500. The front isn't a problem, but the rear has this odd 2-hole mount on the chain stay. I cant find any caliper or converter that seems to work with it. Anyone know of an adapter that would convert this mount to something that would work with a modern Hayes caliper? If there isn't something that would work with this mount, is there anything that could be mounted on the seat stay? Attached are a pic of the mount, and the Hayes brake I'd like to move over.
