I was riding on Saturday and noticed a "whinning" noise every time my rear shock was under pressure... Today, I was making sure everything was tight and in place when I noticed the inside of my spring has been rubbing on the shock.

What would cause this? The spring weight is 550lb.

is the spring seated square on the preload collar and spring clip on the bottom?

my old rcs ti spring also did that on my old dhx and it was the proper ID....when I rolled the spring on a flat surface it clearly was curved, or bowed if you will....

get some bearings in there, it will prevent it from curving (I would think)

I figured it out. My RCS spring was not perfectly level, which was messing **** up.

Sometimes when ti-springs rub the shock you can flip the spring and it wont rub.
