Hey there, I'm currently riding a RM Pipeline year 2002 with a Fox Vanilla R. The shock is 6.5 i2i and the stroke is 1.5". My question is, I need a lower spring weight, so what lenght spring do I need? Is it required that I have a shock with a 1.5 stroke and how will this affect the suspension? I have a 900lb spring and I'm only 145 lbs, so I was thinkig like a 700-800 lb spring would do?

look on the side of the spring and it should have some numbers printed on it...900x1.8...for example the second number is what your looking for...I could go into more detail about coil bind and so on....just get another spring that has the same second number as your current spring but at a lesser weight like 700-800 as you have suggested....D
