i just realised that the fox dhx doesn't have compression danmping like the old fox vanilla rc. does this mean that the shox doesn't destroy the energy of the shox compressing like the old shox, ie:due to the resistance caused to the flow of oil through the cuircuit(sp?). or does it have compression danmping but it cant be adjusted? as far as i know it just uses the air chamber in the resevour to resist bottomong.

Off the Go-ride site:

"Our unique Boost ValveTM technology increases compression damping as shaft travel increases, creating a position sensitive shock that allows efficient"

Yea you have compression adjustment. The old RC had compression adjustment that wasn't variable...it didn't change if you were in the middle of the stroke or end. So it didn't feel good at all. Everyone ran their RCs with compression either off or one click on...otherwise, the shock would blow.
