Yesterday morning, Dartmouth students awoke to find posters -- complete with Confederate flag backgrounds -- advertising today's lecture by Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean on bulletin boards across campus.
one thing's for sure: this is not a vast right wing conspiracy. They'd love to see Dean get nominated. It would be a Wm J bryan, or mcgovern, or mondale all over again.
Dean apologized for the remark on Nov. 5, saying, "I deeply regret the pain that I may have caused" people who were offended by it.

Duh. ALL college students are thin-skinned. Nature of the beast.
In general, the Dartmouth Review has the highest quality of writing of any of the student publications in Hanover, but they are a petty, whiny group that thinks they're the center of the world (just like every other college-age organization).
