Here are 2 I've watched

War of the worlds - Great movie to watch in surround sound on HDTV. If you can suspend your disbelief long enough it's a fun movie.

Batman Begins - I was really surprised by this movie. I thought it was going to be uber lame but it wasn't bad. Pretty good story line for a Batman movie and while it was somewhat over the top it wasn't as far fetched and Hollywood'ish as some of the more recent batmans.

Batman Begins is the only thing close to a new release I've seen recently. Thank god I didn't pay to rent it.

Might be checking out The Fantastic 4 tonight. Will be renewing my Netflix subscription soon, so I should have plenty of new movies for my library.

Man on Fire- it was OK, clever use of subtitles I thought.

We rented Murderball this weekend - I though it was terrific. It's a documentary mostly about the guys on Team USA for wheelchair rugby, aka "murderball". These guys are some tough and inspirational mofos, and if you ever want to know if/how quadraplegics have sex, your questions will be answered.

Now, I thought W/W sucked big time... but different strokes for different folks I guess.

I went to a fundraiser for adaptive sports here in Oregon and they showed that film. I really enjoyed it and thought it was very well done.

Has anyone seen Grizzly Man?

Harry Potter: Not bad. Fluffier then the last one which was the best of the Potter flicks so far. I've never read the books so I don't know how they compare.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Good but the book is still better... way better.

Cinderella Man - Meh. It's a remake of ROCKY set in the early 20th century. Renee Zelwegger sucked ass in this one. She's good as Bridgette Jones but I think that's about it. And she makes an awful brunette. What's his name is OK. Basically a reprisal of his character in Gladiator. Much like Keanu and Stallone he is best in movies where he doesn't have to speak.

The wife and I are going to go catch the Wallace And Grommit flick tonight at the cheapy theatre. Can't wait for that one, but I am a W&G fan.

I forgot about those two. Charlie & The Chocolate Factory was good and I enjoyed the W&G movie too! :thumb:

Jarhead - the reason I'm not in the army. Just for kicks I rented his other film Dead Man with Johnny Depp....it was decent.

Fast Cheap and Out of Control - an oldie but a goodie....the guy that studies the naked mole rats kinda looks like one.

Animal Love - A german documentary about people that are completly devoted to thier animals. Bizarre... Another one the guy did was Jesus I Know, see it if you can find it.

Pickpocket - a 60's french movie about a pickpocket. I thought it was great, it made me want to ride the subway and stick my hands down other peoples pants.

Dig - After the movie, you will have a strange urge to buy a Dandy Warhol's CD

Rent - Rent it, and try not to fall asleep.

Aeon Flux - oooooo...ahhhhhh special effects:drool:

Thumbsucker - "what does a ****** feel like?" "I hear it's the softest thing in the world"

See what happens, you cut back your smoking to save some money and to live longer, but you end up wasting your life and money on movies:help:

Saw II..."I want to play a Game" I thought it was much better than the first and I really liked the first.

Harry Potter pretty good job of translating 760 pages into 2.5 hours of film

I thought Batman Begins was really good, it wasnt cartoonish at all.

Charlie and the Chocolate factory...how could you not like it Depp and Burton together again for the first time.

Just cancelled Netflix may have to restart it in about a month and catch up on things.

I've been getting to the bottom of the barrel on my Blockbuster by mail account. Watched:

"Sideways", didn't like it, figured out the ending within the first 15 minutes.

"Big Fish", liked it, better than I expected.

"G3 Live in Denver", Satriani and Via kicked ass, Malmsteen was an embarassment to himself and the video.

"Shaun of the Dead", funny, better than I expected.

Tonight I'm going to see the Narnia flick, and I hope to catch the new HP flick soon.

Shaun Of The Dead ws pretty good. I also thought it was better then I expected.

I am torn on the Narnia movie. Sadly I don't think I can go see it. I have too much of myself invested in the books.

The new War of the Worlds wasn't as bad as I expected. But it did nothing to capture the spirit & humor of the book.

I watched the most recent Harry Potter and it was good like the rest but did end abpruptly.

Finally saw Manchurian Candidate -- very good and highly engaging

Lately the third season of That 70s Show has been worked through thanks to Rob's Netflix. On tap for this weekend is Mr. and Mrs. Smith and March of the Penguins. Nothing great has hit dvd lately, so with the help of a few beers, these shouldn't be too bad.

Batman Begins  Even better than the Tim Burton ones (I'm a little obsessed with Batman)
Aliens: Resurrection - ehh, not as good as the first two, better than the third
Harry Potter - a lot of fun, worth seeing
Gross Point Blank - loved it, a lot better than I thought it would be, good comedy action romance flick.
Murderball - not as good as I was hoping, but an interesting look at Quadriplegic Rugby.
War of the Worlds - Good, followed the book more than the first.

High Tension - French. Suspense. Movie started out frickin amazing. Pretty damn scary (which is something few movies can claim anymore), but it all turns to crap by the end. They incorpoprate a retarded twist and ruin it.

Kung Fu Hussle - Finaly got around to seeing it. Alot of fun.

heh, last night we stole a couple movies from Blockbuster by accident. The first person out the door picked up the movies from the counter, and the last person out, not realizing that the movies were already picked up, also pick up some movies on the counter that someone was returning. This wasn't realized until we got to their apt. I will return them today.

Recently I've been watching:

Batman Begins - Great. Best Batman by far.
Team America - Fianlly got round to renting it. Fvck yeah. Was pretty good.
Anchorman - Greatest comedy of all time, especially with a little doob in ya. I've seen it like 8 times now. Each time you watch you notice more retarded sh1t in the background.
Family Guy season 3, 4 and 5 off the internet, because we're like 2 seasons behind in that show over here.

Mine wasn't that bad. Somehow it got added to my Netflix. I don't recall adding it and my wife swears she did, but it was an odd but great flick.
