someone will say "this is in the wrong forum.....waah!" but there are more people in this one so I'm posting it here.

ok, dinner for two. super hungie. has to be some kind of comfort food because we are both hung over too. :D

we are thinking along the lines of
Mac and Cheese (with ham or bacon:))
Nachos (chips, flavored meat, jalapenos, beans, cheese, salsa etc)
Biscuts and gravey

it needs to be fairly simple/quick as well.

Always a good choice. Or with Ground Beef, whichever is closer.
The white cheddar mac and cheese also tastes good with tuna and peas (and it rhymes)

yea, that is pretty good. I thought you didn't eat meat? I make it with two kinds of pork!:D
I think we are going to go with the Potatoes with Ham au Gratin though. super cheap and we haven't cooked it before so it's new to us.

4 cups diced potatoes
2 cups chopped green onions
5 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 1/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
4 pimiento, diced
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
2 cups ham, cubed 1/2"
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
4 tablespoons butter

cook it all up and bake it.

 :stupid:

I likey mine spicy, too. There are two cheeses you can get at the deli around here that just make it- a horseradish swiss and a jalapeno jack.
