    Anyone recycling their bike Tires?

I have a bunch of used DH tires that are worn and need to be tossed. Every bike shop I have been to says they just chuck 'em in the trash. There's got to be a better way...

Glue tread to old clothes to make Mad Max style armour. That's my Halloween costume at least.

Naw - he'll burn it after Halloween. Nothing like the smell of burning tires in the morning, I always say. :thumb:

See if you can take 'em down to the local tire shop. Might cost you a few bucks for disposal, but at least you'd be doing the right thing. Poo-poo on the bike shops just tossing them in the dumpster.

Yeah - bring you recyclables to our handy drop-off center. Then *we* will take it all and dump it in the landfill. :p
