Peat takes it again this year. Minaar's time on his Honda while not great looks close enough that he will be in the hunt this year.

If you look at it as 5 seconds behind Peat his time looks horrible but considering he was only 1 second behind Sam Hill and 2 seconds behind Gracia I think with more time on the bike and more tuning we might see some good stuff out of it.

I was just watching the 03 race last night, can't wait to see footage of the 04.

While not a true test I think the only component people have major questions about is the tranny, the rest of the bike is pretty standard. From the footage I was watching it was a very pedally course.

Of course the tranny isn't going to be more efficient than a deraileur setup but many people were worried it would be much less efficient. If he's even in the ballpark on a pedally course then that at least hints towards the fact that it isn't going to be a major detriment.

Yeah, it's not conclusive of anything but I still find it interesting.

Streets of San Francisco. We could have DH'ers jumping intersections like Steve McQueen and his Mustang in Bullit. How cool would that be?
