I have a 30g iPod Photo, which I love, but I am getting my daughter one for her birthday.

She wants a Mini, and I noticed an HP Mini. What's the difference between the HP and the regular?

im pretty sure there is no difference, just HP wanted to sell some...and arent they preformatted for PC as well?

No difference.. the formatting takes all of 1 minute.

HP has announced that it will no longer sell re-branded iPods. If you buy one and have problems, you may run into some customer service issues. This is just a guess, though.

there is no difference other than the words "HP" on the box. pixelninja is right though, HP is going to stop selling them, but I would maybe look around on HP's website and see what they say about future support. I bet it won't be a problem.

I think I saw the HP ipods at Costco. they were a little cheaper than buying from Apple or HP.
