Sad the people telling everyone else how to live know the least about the subject.

Yet seems to be the obvious way of the world.

10/10 bitches. Put me down in either the atheist or agnostic categories...

Edit: Although it would be interesting to take the full 32 question quiz, since I'd be taking an educated guess at Maimondes, and I would've gotten the Dalai Lama question wrong too (damn Hindu vs Buddhist).

7/10.

Saw the Luther question, thought of Vandross, remembered the Eddie Murphy skit on him, and got hungry for chicken.

10/10, atheist. Want to take the 32 question version and tear that bitch up.

Since the questions were across many religions, the results don't surprise me at all. Generally, Christians learn about Jewish faith via the "old testament" and discussing "the Hebrews," but studying Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism or others is very rarely encouraged.

Yeah, 10/10 as well.

Those weren't hard questions, and my specific area of expertise is Calvinism, which doesn't really encourage thoughtful questions about Buddhism, for example. It's not like I have a broad religious background to draw from...

There was a 15 question one on Yahoo.

I think it's the same 10 with a few "bonus" questions tossed in. I got 14/15.

The one missed:
15. Which one of these preachers participated in the period of religious activity known as the First Great Awakening?

^ That's the one I took. 14/15 and I missed the same question.

I was raised in a very conservative, evangelical Christian household, just a step away from Mennonite, and only a few generations from Amish.

Nothing was every discussed, compared or investigated, it just "was." There was no questioning anything, because that was "doubt." I never believed the ****, but went along because I wasn't strong enough as a kid to fight against it.

Now I'm firmly an atheist (a really goddamn bitter and elitist atheist at that), and I know more about religion than my entire bible-banging family put together, unless regurgitating bible verses counts as knowledge.

God made me an atheist. Why do you mock God by questioning his wisdom?

(That one works well if you've got a Protestant, doubly so with anyone who believes in predestination :D)

Got 15/15 for that quiz as well. Knew the 1st Great Awakening was LOOONG before Billy Graham, so was a 50/50 shot after eliminating him.

That one still got me. I guessed wrong... 14/15 and whoever Charles Finney is can go **** himself.
