I broke a bolt about 4 mm from the end of the bolt head off in my boxxer crown. what is my best bet for getting it out? Drill it? i am heading to a race tomorrow morning so this is an emergency.

Thanks in advance for the input guys.

Drill the middle of the bolt out about 5mm-10mm in. Run to Lowes, Home depot, etc and buy a set of easy outs, not screw extractors, those suck!

Use the easy outs to "easily" remove the broken bolt.

You should have a set of these in your toolbox anyways.

This just happened to me on my Fox 40. I broke a bolt on the lower fork clamps. I took the other bolt (the one right next to ti) out and the made sure the bolthead on the broken bolt was completey drilled off. I then took a small flat blade screwdriver and put it in the clamp slot and gently pried the clamp apart. I then took a very small and flat pair of pliers and inserted it in the spread out clamp and just turned the broken screw out until enough of it was poking thru the hole. once it was I was able to take the screw driver out and just turn the rest of the screw out by hand. Did any of this make sense?
