I have a friend who will be in town for Thanksgiving and wants to try riding. I only have my one bike though, anyone know a good place I could rent a fairly decent bike for him? It doesn't need to be top of the line but I would like to set him up on something fairly nice. FS or HT, doesn't really matter.

Doesn't matter really, anywhere between LA and Ventura (work in the first, live in the second!) Hell I'd drive down to Orange County too.

Open Air in Ventura has a specialized demo bikes, you can "rent".
