Hi all, the rounded underside of my top tube has a flattened out spot. I feel confident it's not affecting strength, but I'd like to look into the option of repairing it or at least concealing it effectively. Alloy frame, powder-coated.

What are my options?

i really wouldn't worry about it. just keep an eye on it. right now its just a dent, i'd be concerned that the heat from the powder coat baking might actually making worse, and if you have a filler over it you'd have no way to visually monitor it.

I would also just leave the frame alone the more you try to hide something like that, the more likely damage will occur under the fix.

Just keep an eye on it. Watch for expansion, cracking, etc. If nothing is changing down the line and you are thinking about pouder coating it then go ahead but for right now, monitoring it is more important then covering it up.
