I'm working on replacing the reducer and need some help on how to get the aluminum sleeve out of shock. Have any of you 's done it? There aren't any videos on Fox's site that cover this.
I've done it before using different sized sockets and a quick release skewer, but there is a tool that is used to do this. Your local "good" shop should have one, but you'll probably have to pay to have them remove and install the new bushing. (or have them order the tool for you.)

To clarify, my impression of your post is that you're trying to get the aluminum sleeve out of the shock eyelet. That's what the tool I mentioned is for. If you're only trying to remove the reducers, use your hands or some pliars,... they come right out.
Thanks! Now to find that "good" shop that actually is competent enough to have the correct tools for that bushing. OR.......I'll just keep whacking on it and get it out the tough way.
Yes - the Aluminum sleeve was what I was trying to get out. The socket idea worked like a charm! I found the 3/8" socket fit the size of the sleeve perfectly and a 14mm socket was just big enough for the sleeve to slide into. I put that into a vice and it pushed the sleeve right out. I got the new sleeve in and the shock is nice and tight now.
I called the local shop that is known for having the best shop and they said "Oh, you have to send that to Fox because they won't sell anyone the tool for removing that sleeve." Guess they don't get parts from BTI. *shrug*
