Hey I want to put some discs on my Rockhopper and I'm probably just gonna go with like some bb7's, unless you guys have any other suggestions around that price range, but I was wondering if I need new levers or cables. My bike currently has Avid levers but I'm not sure if theres like compatability issues or anything.

first of all you need to be sure your frame and fork is disc compatible, BB7's are a great set up nu tI would reccomend you get new cables and housings if you have rode the current set up enough. it wil only cost about 5 dollars per lever and is worth the response you will get ou the new cables. just make sure you have who ever is doing the install stretches the cables.
Yeah they are both compatible, I'm sure of that. So just new cables and housings then? People say good stuff about the Flak Jackets, so something along that line? Buy my levers should be alright then?
I dont have a problem with bulk housing and stainless cables, I think anything more is a waste of money for no real function.
