I have Shimano XT M765 disc brakes with the XT dual control levers. My rear brake was getting mushy so I figured that before I bled the system I would install a new brake hose. How the heck do you get the hose out of the master cylinder after the connecting bolt has been loosened and backed out all the way? I figured that when the connecting bolt was removed that the hose would come right out. I pulled on it with quite a bit of force and no way was it coming out so I quit before I screwed it up to get some advice from you guys. Luckily I didn't cut the old hose and reattached, filled and bled and it works fine but I would still like to get the new hose on so any advice or know how would be greatly appreciated.
