I'm going to be in Richmond next week and I've found a couple of good trails on trails.com.

1) Pocahontas
2) Powhite

Are there any others that would be worth checking out? I imagine that I'll only have three days to ride.

Also, what is a good shop in the Richmond area, just in case...

Rowlett's at Staples Mill and Broad St.

Cobblestone in Chesterfield Meadows Shopping Center about a mile south on Rt 10 from Beach Rd (to Pocahontas.)

Poor Farm park in Hanover county is a good place to ride. It's north of Richmond city, approximately 15 miles or so. If you need directions just PM me and I'll send them. As far as bike shops go, Rowlett's is the best in Richmond. The crew will hook you up. The shop's number is 353-4489...everyone in that shop actualy rides!!!

not to sure how close walnut creek is to richmond but its in c'ville pretty good trails there.
