i most definitely participate, even though i really can't grow a mustache. the winner should get an RM-designed t-shirt or jersey with a facial-hair-laden monkey symbol. kind of the "elite" RM clothing line...

I have to bow out for genetic reasons. I tried to grow on last month to match my goatee, and it looked like I glued on some pubes on my upper lip.

I'm considering but past attempts at facial hair it has driven me nuts and I have shaven it off within a week or so.

You can't grow one of those cool long ones like that dude in kill bill?

Westy, you better commit.

I'm in, but after August would be best. Either way I'm in, if only because it's going to a charity. My last handlebar was so-so, but it was only after two weeks or so.

If we go in August, I will be at a family function 30/31, so I might have to submit my entry on the 29th. I could attempt to grow something cool between now and then, though.

For charity and hilarity, I would say I'm in. I will have to purchase a trimmer, but I need to do that anyway. What's the pony-up?

A day or so early isn't going to make a big difference, so yeah, that's good.

Im thinking $10? Is that too high?

What's the judging criteria JBP? Looks most like a member of the Village People? 70's pornstar? Cop? Child molestor? Hitler?....what are we aiming for?

I would rather not disclose the "look" I will be going for. Although a Trans-Am might be in order.

http://www.americanmustacheinstitute.org/MustacheStyles.aspx

The certified mustacheologists at the American Mustache Institute are often asked, "What is the best mustache style?" or "What constitutes a bad mustache?"

The challenge is that there is no true best mustache style and there is certainly no such thing as a bad mustache, as they are all God’s creatures and thus loved by all within the mustache community.
