Update:
Dad got his stitches out last week and the rest of his bandages off yesterday. He's still got a sore shoulder and walks a little slower, but over all he's doing great. Already back to Fox news and bitching about Obama.
Won't be much longer till he's back on the bike too. His road bike needs some major work, but in the mean time he can ride his Santa Cruz Tallboy. Dad easts Honey Badgers for breakfast.
