Nam I am
We Lost a Great Advocate, Great rider , but worst of all we lost a good friend.

It is with a heavy heart that we bid Dan Ibbitson farewell, and our thoughts go out to his family and friends. Dan was a long time SE MA NEMBA supporter and mountain bike advocate, as well as an amazing rider. He will missed. Here is his obituary from the Sun Chronicle.

Daniel Ibbitson

WRENTHAM - Daniel Ibbitson of Wrentham, beloved husband of Jacqueline DeCourcey Ibbitson, died on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; his father Richard of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Poland, Maine; brother Edward Ibbitson and Elizabeth Spear of Baytown, Texas; brother Scott Ibbitson of Pembroke; his late mother, Mary Dixon; and his stepfather, Ray Dixon; and his special friend and shop dog, Mavic.

Dan passed doing what he loved most, surrounded by many of his friends. Dan loved life, his family, his friends, sports, and the outdoors.

He was as much at home in a hockey rink, cutting wood and mountain biking as he was sitting around with his friends talking and sharing a beer.

Dan was a member of Team Kinetic Karma, a team that rides in the Pan Mass Challenge and has raised more than $2 million for cancer research to date.

In 2010, Dan followed his passion for riding and bicycles and opened Sheldonville Bicycle Repair, which he operated until the time of his death.

Dan's infectious laugh, wonderful sense of humor, and zest for life are going to be missed by all who knew him.

Please join us in celebrating his life on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m., at Lake Pearl Luciano's, 299 Creek St., Wrentham.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pan Mass Challenge/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute under "Team Kinetic Karma" at www.pmc.org.
