Ok, I've been on here tons a times blabbin about getting some kind organization in GA and hopefully racing. We'll I'm working with a Sorba Chapter and they agreed to work with us in making a small Freeride area, but hey it's better than nothing.
Here' a map with the layout of the area. It is only 1000ft in length, with an elevation drop of only 200ft., we can't use the north part of the hill because it's already a sweet bit of flowy XC singletrack. I know it's not a ton of space but it's PERMANENT and Forsyth county just got a bunch more land for parks...meaning that if we can make this work we could have another area with steeper terrain that is roughly 160 acres close to lake lanier.
The idea here is to get AS MUCH rider input as possible, so everyone will be able to enjoy it. I thought there would be space for a MTX run, but I don't think so after looking at the map.
