I love them...I wish some company would make riding socks that looked like dress socks so I could wear them to work all the time.

I wear them on weekends, but I wear dress socks to work.

Actually, what's more comfy than bike socks is wearing thick toasty ski socks to work in the winter. :)

I have about 15 pair of Performance brand wool riding socks. I pretty much wear them all the time. They have the extra thick section in the sole for padding.

I can't stand regular cycling socks. I think it is a combination of my dislike for short socks and socks with strange colors/or any images.
That said, dress socks can make good riding socks. I've used them before. Synthetic material, tall, & black. They do take on a stink somethin awful thou..

I manage to slip on the wool ones now and again. Rumor has it, I will be in a wedding party next March and riding socks will be the finishing touch. Will throw on the micro bus socks.

White cotton thingys get funky fast. I'm on my feet most of the day, and wear riding socks to work often.
Espesially awesome in summertime, because they're ventilated and don't get as funkified.

On the rare ocassion that I wear shoes, yes I wear riding socks.

    Sock Guy is the best!

I try not to coordinate bike company t-shirts with riding socks.....too much brand whoring then. I do love my Karate Monkey T though and my surly wool racer geek socks!

Now you CAN wear bike socks to work.

Wigwam makes some bike style socks in pure black.
I bought 8 pair, and I wear them for biking AND to work.
The best part is for the after work rides, I don't even need to change them!!

Here is a link to some with a small logo.
I'll see if I can find the pure-black ones.

I just get the solid black generic wool ones. Wear to work, wear them to ride. I may be violating certain fashion rules wearing short black socks with shorts and sneakers but I could care less.
