Thought I'd link to some photos taken via IABs camera from our ride in Westwoods down in Guilford, CT last Saturday

Here's IAB going big

The Broom riding a bridge that is not easy to get to - he did it like a pro and he's only been riding for less than a year - good stuff

Babs going over a tricky log section.tricky because it is downhill than then you have to sorta lift the front tire over the logs - he nailed it!

Tonyhawk on a really steep roller - he handled it like a champ!

Tony launching off a rock jump on the trail - fun!

Me hitting the same rock jump

We spent about 2 and a half hours riding Westwoods I think. Great trails, and we only scratched the surface before getting really hungry. Many return trips are in order.

Other CT Monkeys if you haven't hit Westwoods - I highly recommend you do sometime. Great place to ride and have fun!

Where in CT are those, N, S, E, W CT?

Knuckle
Guilford, CT Knucks - near the shore. Off of I95. Great trails - very cool place - lots of wild rock formations and not a lot of climbing either (thought that part would interest you!).

Good times!

Yeah Next time I might have to bring some balls and my Prowler to Westwoods to hit that drop. :)

Jozz - come on down for an extended New England MTB trip! We can hit several places here in CT and then head over to MA To hit Nam and Lynn Woods or something.

Bottomed out my shock on that 2nd drop. CLUNK.
There is a bigger flat drop at Trumbull right above the log crossing to the jogging path on the other side of the stream.

Key to not bottoming is to ride up to it real slow, drop it trials style and scare the crap out of the guy riding behind you :D Thats what I did to spincrazy

Drops to flat suck though, I felt sorry for my bike. I've killed one set of bearings and bushings in less than a year and I generally avoid pointless drops like that...

There is no such thing as a pointless drop.

Those first two pics are different drops. Pic 2 is a bigger drop than Pic 1.

Is that TonyHawk the skater, or some dewd on this board??? (sorry i'm new here ;)
its a nickname given to me by some guy who wanted to kick my ass. I do have tonyhawk the skater zip-tied to my bike now for cosmic mojo though:
