What's the scoop on this place? I see on a map that it's only an hour or so from good ski area's to ride my board and bike, but how's the town itself, people, things to do etc...? I applied for a govt. job there and might have a good chance of getting it. Just wanted to know the scoop on this place. I applied for it because its a great job, but also because it's in the Mtn's and it seems near to all my favorite things to do..board, bike, fish, hunt, camp, etc. Just curious if there's anything too this town or not? I know some small towns can be very weird in the mtn's...

It's 63 miles from Grand Junction and 54 miles from Snowmass/ Aspen area right off of I-70.

Location-wise it'd be pretty sweet. I haven't driven through it in years but when I did I seem to remember it as being a tiny town in a hot region. But its definitely within a close drive of some sweet areas. I'd say go for it.
