Yep. One of my brewers found a reference in an old brewing text suggesting it was called dry-hopping because it dries the beer out, ie, less mouthfeel from unfermented sugars. We've seen beers sit at terminal gravity for days only to start fermenting again after hops were added.

For anyone who likes strong dark flavored stouts this is a must try. None of that vanilla flavor they seem to be ruining all the porters and stouts with these days. Just lots of smokey chocolate notes and not too boozy.

Found this on sale for just a few bucks more than my usual Glenlivet 12. Pretty good. A bit smoother and more vanilla flavor than the standard. Would be a good one for people who don't appreciate the smokey notes as much.
