SN Torpedo.

Wife is drinking Paradox Glen Grant (imperial stout aged in a former 1970 Glen Grant cask).

I want what she's having. We only had one bottle though that a friend brought over ($13 for a 12oz bottle  )

Sweet now I have some Nashoba Valley Vidal Blanc, and got a few beers from there too (TBD).

Riding for a brewery and having a GF that started working at a winery part-time is sweet!

Paradise
Sierra Nevada Estate Brewers Harvest Ale. It's good, but not SN's best.

I can appreciate an estate beer though.
BAM! IAB keeping it down on the SN front.

Its ok, but since its an estate its pretty pricey, even here.

Hey, I think we found the RM alky's here...

Damn, I'm gonna need rehab if I intend to catch dhmike.

last night a bottle of homebrewed summer ale that I couldn't finish due to be struck by the swine flu.

Southern Tier Creme Brulee stout!

Wow..............sweet...........flavorful...........strong @ 10% ABV

IMO this is a "drinkers" stout. This a dessert brew. It's awesome poured over vanilla ice cream. Very drinkable............just in small amounts.

ALso kicked a sixer of SOUTHHAMPTON Pumpkin and a sixer of Blue Point Oktober.

The pumpkin is light but very tasty. Has a lot of flavor and is thinner than DFH. Nice amount of pumpkin and spice but not over the top.
Had a growler of John Harvard's also this past week and the SH is better.
and the Oktober is just awesome. Very drinkable....very smooth. You can drink a sixer of this stuff before you know it. very smooth with lots of complex flavor.

and sampled of couple of Pacifico's at tex mex nite!

Gotta have the variety!!

In my fridge now:

Deschutes Twilight Ale
Sierra Nevada Torpedo
Smithwicks
North Coast Old Rasputin RIS
Stone Sublimely Self Righteous Ale
Stone Cali-Belgie IPA
Stone Vertical Epic

Looking forward to trying the Stones, those are all new to me. The Deschutes is damn good, I was pleased. The other 3 are things I've had before.

comparative taste test tonight: weyerbacher imperial pumpkin ale vs. shipyard smashed pumpkin. both amazing. truly the two best pumpkin ales i've ever had...and the strongest. think of the flavor assault, alcohol content and effervescence associated with a belgian tripel, but pumpkin.

hot damn...

I'd been stupid busy the last couple weeks, what with throwing this and all:

I can get away most weekend mornings. I don't think I have your number. I'll PM you mine.
