It's Sunday afternoon and the beers an in waiting and not in drinking. I'm hesitant on giving him a pass....
Pssh, you wish you could have had the week of beer drinking I just had. The following were beers I have tried for the first time this week - which does not include the beers consumed with meals (homebrews, Sierra Nevadas, and Smuttynose IPA primarily). List courtesy of Jenn's spreadsheet:

Not bad. Haven't had Lucky Bastard yet, how was that? I've had about half of those, bunch of good stuff on there, but the real winner is Lucky 13. That stuff is amazing, and I don't even normally like reds that much.

Not bad. Haven't had Lucky Bastard yet, how was that? I've had about half of those, bunch of good stuff on there, but the real winner is Lucky 13. That stuff is amazing, and I don't even normally like reds that much.
It was great. This was a tasting that Jenn gives to her dad and brother every year, and we all gave it good marks - either A or A-.

last night floated our keg of homebrewed sweet stout & started on the keg of Kolsch. both are/were great beers.

bought my first 6 pack in a long time last night. $8 & change for 6 Furthermore Hopperbolics IPA's. Was so disappointed after drinking mostly homebrew. I need to brew another hoppy beer to satisfy my hop craving.

we celebrated the new year at brunch yesterday....O'so Night Train Porter, some local stout called sasquatch stout, & then a pint of Stone Smoked Porter.

If you can find it, Ale Asylum's Ballistic just hit. Had some at the brewery yesterday, and could possibly be the absolute best beer I've ever had. Ever. Obviously freshness counts for an IPA (yesterday was the first day they tapped the kegs), and draft vs bottles is always going to be better, but it was still pretty incredible. More hop flavor instead of the hop bitterness, with a citrusy blast pretty much front and center. So tasty...
