yea, the 2 barleywines are being added to the "aging" collection. Actually, I got 2 of each. one for now, one for later. I've been trying to save one of each barleywine I got this year to age, but haven't been 100% successful I've got a DFH Olde School, Below Deck Rough Seas, Brooklyn Monster, and 1 or 2 others I can't recall off the top of my head.^^^ I hope a couple of those are going in the cellar for a year or two?
I like it from time to time. It's more for Liz. Her business trip was supposed to be one day. Got extended to one week. Should've been home yesterday, but won't be till Friday.I was with you until the Wachusset Blueberry.
Barley Wine. Can't quite make it out, what special version of Old Guardian is that?
Must have changed the label then. I was figuring it was a special version because I didn't recognize it.Barley Wine.
You are the Golgi Aparatus of the right now I am drinking thread.Sh*t, why am I under fire all the time? People are posting about High Life and I catch flak for paying a couple bucks overprice for DFH90.
It's ridiculous. Srsly. I liked it a lot...but the first few sips were a bit tough even though I knew what I was getting myself into.I'm most curious about the hoptimum.

Methinks it shall be saved for a special occasion, like the first ride of spring.
I want to lol but I don't get the comparison. Is it because I package proteins and fats for export outside the cell? You are the Golgi Aparatus of the right now I am drinking thread.
Hoppy beers should not be saved. They should be consumed.Methinks it shall be saved for a special occasion, like the first ride of spring.
the guy in the lounge who gets flak no matter what bike content he posts.I want to lol but I don't get the comparison. Is it because I package proteins and fats for export outside the cell?
.
cram it bird nerd. i got the last one they had (the other 3 that were on the shelf while I was there were snagged by employees). I asked if they're getting more. They said they're not sure, but they're gonna try.Hoppy beers should not be saved. They should be consumed.
Where did I say aging? I said saving for a spring ride. Which is maybe a month or 2 away. If I can get my hands on another bottle, then yes, I'll crack one open.Bite me, package geek.
Just sayin' that high IBUs and lots of hops don't usually get better with age.
Hoppy beers should not be saved. They should be consumed.
Yeah but unlike you I don't think that unhoppy beers should be poured down the drain.
Non-hoppy beer should never be opened. Actually... it may as well never even be BREWED.Yeah but unlike you I don't think that unhoppy beers should be poured down the drain.
It might be. I can get a better picture tonight.Must have changed the label then. I was figuring it was a special version because I didn't recognize it.
