Im looking to buy a Rigid fork for my .243, I tried out a XC rigid for on the bike for a day, and it was really hard to pull up, I could but it took way to much effort. Although I liked how solid it felt on Jumps etc.

So im guessing the reason it was really hard to pull up was because the lenght of the fork was to short. Im riding a DJ3 right now,

So my question is what are the diffrent lengths for Rigid forks, what forks are comparable in lenght to say a 4" travel suspension fork.

Theres a Kona Jump Fork at my LBS, i think i might buy it but I would like to know if it would work good with my Geometry.

the reason it was hard to pull up is because you haven't been riding a rigid for long.

give it a few weeks and it will feel normal.
