Does anyone know who makes a steel rigid 1" threadless non suspension-corrected fork for mountain bikes with ample mud clearance and v-brake mounts only? I know it'll be hard to find, but if you've got any ideas let me know.

Thanks in advance!

try your local LBS. sounds like any number of old forks lying around there will do, and they'll probably sell 'em to you for $15 or so :D . well, apart from the 1" bit...

I did a search of Quality Bike Products, and I found only one fork (Tange), and it was out of stock. I think you better search the junk bins of your LBS or get a new frame.

Oh, and I work at an LBS with tons of rigid forks but most are bent/too short. Rigid is all the rage in Ojai so we really don't have any nice ones either. I may consider welding my own.

if you work at a shop the boys at IF will work an EP purchase for you. even if you're not on a dealer list. still a bit pricy but you get waht you pay for.
