Hey everyone i just have a real quick question for you. I am looking to buy colored spokes and was wondering if you could sugguest on where i could find them or would it be better to color them myself? Also i saw someone on pinkbike.com with blue wheels by nokian i believe but when i went to thier website the tires were all black. any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. And would anyone here advise against painting my rims a different color or would it be chill???

Nokian's blue tires are just their "blue silica" compound. I believe all of their tires (with the exception of the 3.0") are offered in both regular and blue silica, but I could be wrong about that. The silica compound is faster wearing but a little stickier (though not nearly on the level of an Intense or Maxxis).

Shouldn't be any problem with spraypainting your rims. If they're tubeless rims you might want to be careful about masking off the inside - I don't know how it would affect them.

You might be able to find anodized spokes somewhere but I bet they'd be expensive. Spraypaint is a pretty cheap way to go. If you want it to last, give it a good base coat of a similar colored primer. Better yet, if you can find a primer in the color you like, use that - cheap!
