Divided We Stand.

i'm old enough. today i had to register for the draft.

and i still believe that bush supporters tend to be stubborn and uneducated, for he done so much wrong, lied so many times, been so belligerent - i simply cannot see why people would accept him.

u can bitch it all you want. there's a lot more to argue for my side than yours. i'm sick of this animosity...too bad i started it.

You mean like Kerry's wonderful economics plan? (reganomics at its best...spend more tax less. Sure).

How about Kerry's ridiculous stand on abortion? Pretty right wing for a left winger huh?

The only thing kerry had going for him was he didn't invade a small mid eastern country, while his equally moronic opponent did. Grow up, and learn about how the world works.

just another useless freshman...

Hey, Al Franken has a radio show now too! Of course nobody is listening to it.

Clearly, the American public cares not a whit about the opinion of musicians and actors.

"What the f%&k does it matter what I think? I'm an actor, a grown man that wears makeup."
~Brad Pitt
the paradox of this is that america is consumed w/ all things celebrity (or else all the pulp mags and entertainment-lite tv shows wouldn't have such a massive pull).

bomberz1QR20 ain't here, so i'll post up the requisite DK lyrics:

"Rioting—the unbeatable high
Adrenalin shoots your nerves to the sky
Everyone knows this town is gonna blow
And it's all gonna blow right now….

Now you can smash all the windows that you want
All you really need are some friends and a rock
Throwing a brick never felt so damn good
Smash more glass
Scream with a laugh
And wallow with the crowds
Watch them kicking peoples' ass

But you get to the place
Where the real slavedrivers live
It's walled off by the riot squad
Aiming guns right at your head
So you turn right around
And play right into their hands
And set your own neighbourhood
Burning to the ground instead

Chorus
Riot—the unbeatable high
Riot—shoots your nerves to the sky
Riot—playing into their hands
Tomorrow you're homeless
Tonight it's a blast

Get your kicks in quick
They're callin' the national guard
Now could be your only chance
To torch a police car

Climb the roof, kick the siren in
And jump and yelp for joy
Quickly—dive back in the crowd
Slip away, now don't get caught

Let's loot the spiffy hi-fi store
Grab as much as you can hold
Pray your full arms don't fall off
Here comes the owner with a gun

Chorus

The barricades spring up from nowhere
Cops in helmets line the lines
Shotguns prod into your bellies
The trigger fingers want an excuse
Now

The raging mob has lost its nerve
There's more of us but who goes first
No one dares to cross the line
The cops know that they've won

It's all over but not quite
The pigs have just begun to fight
They club your heads, kick your teeth
Police can riot all that they please

Chorus

Tomorrow you're homeless
Tonight it's a blast"

I have to admit I know little about economics. My lil Bro does however with his MBA from Babson and he explained to me in very rational terms how Bush's econ policy is actually better than anything Kerry proposed. Everything he said made a lot of sense so I won't even go there in bush hating.

However the whole "A vote for Bush is a Vote for Jesus" Scares the Bejesus right out of me. I will begrudgingly admit that the Bush folk have some points and there are surprisingly enough a few educated rational Bushies out there but what they don't realize is that the big growing portion of their team are psychotic rampaging abortion clinic bombing fuknutz whos 5 year old told my wife the other day when asked What did you dress up as for Halloween? "I don't celebrate Halloween, Its the Devil's Holiday!

Come on those people are the growth area that turned this election and their numbers are growing in this country, sooner or later they are gonna start asking for their just dues for getting your candidate elected and what do you think will happen?

You think the GOP will give them the bird? Hell no if they want to ever repeat what happened this election, they will play more to that group and we will all be in trouble. The educated among the Republicans are going to say WTF happened to our party. How'd it suddenly turn into a Jesus platform.
