Old School actor Cranshaw dies, 86
Patrick Cranshaw, the veteran character actor who gained a cult following through his performance as elderly fraternity member Joseph 'Blue' Palasky in the comedy 'Old School', has died.
Cranshaw, who was 86, died of natural causes at his home in Texas last Wednesday.
In a career that spanned almost 50 years, Cranshaw worked on such acclaimed films as 'Best in Show', 'The Hudsucker Proxy' and 'Bonnie and Clyde' and appeared in such TV series as 'ER', 'The Dukes of Hazzard' and 'Mork and Mindy'.
Cranshaw was most recently seen on Irish cinema screens in 'Herbie: Fully Loaded'.
