do you think a rm7 would ride good with a single crown like a 66 our 36 our something, my other choice is a shiver, i wanna go single crown becasue ited be more flickable and probly lighter. but the dc i would think would be stiffer. im gonna be raceing downhill doing freeride and big urban gaps. my frames a little small so if it was raked a little ited be better, thats kinda why im leaning twards a 66. thanks

ps. not sure where exactly to put this thread so if its wrong sorry

i don't see any concern there, and if you want it more raked out then pick up the 05 66rc, it has a taller A-C than the 06, though the 06 has more features, the 06 66xl or whatever sounds nice too if your smaller and want something lighter...

doesnt the shiver sc have like 125 mm travel kinda unbalenced, anyways i found the 66rc for like 500 but it only comes in 150 mm:mad: so if anyoneknows where i could pick one up for less then 5 hundread with 170 mm let me know

The 66 can be converted from 150-170. The 170 66 might be a little higher than you want, but it would certainly be doable (I currently have a 170 66 on my rmx). The 150 would be nice, and an 06 version would be ideal.

Yes you can, it requires draining the oil and removing a spacer from each leg. Not terribly difficult.

The RMX rides very well. I ran an RM6/7 a few years ago, these are fun bikes.
