Front Range, dude...
...and cram his religious beliefs down everyone's throat...

ps: he was a pow.
His religious beliefs are whatever is convenient at the current time, and will get you and yours to vote for him.

I think he has been quoted as saying he stopped believing in VietNam. When he was a POW.

Man, i thought it was a horrible speech. I respect all of his military experience even though he had to pull the eject cord 3 or 5 times and the fact that he was getting pistol whhipped for five years but man, i don't think he's a leader. I could be wrong but did he start the speech off by saying he was humiliated by himself somewhere around the first or second sentence? I felt sorry for him as he was just trying to get through the thing, then they were making it worse by shouting USA,USA. Man he was flustered. Poor John. I think he might have some good qualities but don't think he needs to be in charge.

Besides his desire for more socialism, why?
Oh, a question that has yet to be asked here (please note the sarcasm), what exactly makes him qualified?

Read up, junior:

Seriously, do you enjoy being ass-raped? The republicans have proven themselves extremely gifted over the last eight years of defining themselves as populist and small government and family values, while continuously raping 98% of the population. Bush sold himself as anti-interventionist, and was the exact opposite. Bush sold himself as small government, and then approved the largest budget in history and created the largest bureaucracy in history. McCain is selling himself as a maverick, when he has voted 95% with Bush for 8 years and has outlined a plan for America on his website that is the Republican party line to the T. Palin is selling herself as a reformer and outsider when her big "reform" as a mayor was to use a washington insider to secure federal taxpayer dollars for her community.

How many times do you have to be beaten by your boyfriend who "loves you, baby" before you realise you should just leave him?

alright you win already. Nothing. Nothing makes him qualified. McCain is almost double his age, he's got way more experience.

Qualified isn't the issue for me. I'm an ill informed voter, I'm going off of pure instinct and an interviewer perspective. If I were interviewing both men, it's Barry that I would be calling for the second interview.

- he's not going to take away your gun rights.

- he is against the Irag war, not for entirely disarming our military closing up shop completely.

and damn, how do I get rid of this white quilt?

So McCain's speech started out in front of a green screen, which if you were quick enough to see in the beginning clip, was actually the green lawn of a building. That building? Walter Reed. Not surprising, right? It was a long, drawn out talk of veterans, the pains they endure, and the welcome that they get when they come home. Only one problem...

wait for it.

you have to know something's up...

It's Walter Reed Middle School, in North Hollywood, CA. Design? Mistake? No clue, McCain's group isn't talking...

You have a quilt to go along with your guilt? Do you have any male guilt?:twitch:

no, I'm not into that song.

The only male guilt I have is not being able to punch you in the face. Why must you get cocky when all where doing is exchanging political opinions.

i thought part of exchanging was for each side to accept the other's opinion. seems you only want to exchange blows, which i guess could be (mis)construed as being "cocky"

I do accept everybody's opinion and in doing so I'm not coming back with some lame one liner. It's not like i know the guy or "chatted" with him before on the intraweb. he went first. and instead of coming up with some witty comeback, the first thing i thought of was that. I don't want to be some internet tough guy but I'm not getting "cocky" with anybody on any internet forums either.
