You might want the Mediums, they pads are pretty long and with chicken legs you might need to go for the smaller size.
I'm 6'2" and have big legs and I take the large. The bottom of the pad sits just above my ankle.
In some places they are sold as Race Face pads...

Go with the mediums. They're big pads.

I'm 6', and bought the larges but took them back for mediums. If you have skinny legs, get the medium because the straps can have a lot of play. I'm pretty meaty at 220, so they fit just right. I have a 32" inseam if that helps.

Yes they do. They cover the 'bumps' on either side of your ankle, or close enough. They are MUCH better than most other pads for coverage AND they don't slip down off the knee. I'm a big fan.

are these pads designed to sit and conform around the ankle? cause i miss having that from my old VTop gear
One of the better features of the Rallys is that it will sit on the top part of your foot or shoe (especially if you use a high-top) - and then not slip down like so many other pads - I got the Roaches for x-mas and I've really liked them so far

I'm 5' 8" and decided to go large since I'm between sizes (and fat). Top to bottom they fit fine but the straps are way too short for my thick calves.

On the package it reads as follows:

M - 5' 2" - 5' 8"
L - 5' 8" - 6'.0"
XL - 6' 0" +

If anyone wants a new pair in large, PM me.

Sorry for the spam ... at least I provided some info :)
