Besides having fun and really enjoying riding a modern road bike and its really paying off. I was DHing for the first time this year and road from 9.45 until the lift closed at 4pm. I am not tired and only my hands hurt on the last run.

I think getting out of the saddle on the climbs would be even better as I would use the upper body a little more but until now have I struggled with cramping but this has been solved with Ire's advice.

Did 40 miles Saturday in my freeride shorts but I really need to get new bibs. My old bibs from the XC days are too worn and riding shorts sucks big time.

Anyway just wanted to share my happiness. Riding rules

I too am a dirt convert and now I'm a full on matchy-matchy soldier, I've gotten leaps and bounds faster getting on the road. I think I'm going to try a race/crit this year as well. Should compliment the new Super 6 that's coming in

I still say tight ST and/or huge rocks win. irate2:
