You can run a 26 inch MTB tire and wheel combo on the Badboy(it has wide frame and fork arches). Since it runs disks, you can hot swap wheels of different diameter(700c and 26in.). Ride road during the week and hit some single track on the weekend on the same bike.

Look into a 29" wheeled mountain bike.

On One Inbred would fit the bill. Right around 1K complete and it can be run geared or as a Single Speed.

How did they swing an '07 so quickly?
F'ing bike industry!

Release photos of '07, half of them show up, half of them don't. Customers complain and we start knocking prices in half. I should be used to it, but 2007 stuff in July/August '06 is a bit early.

Sweet bike. I would have gone for a Gary Fisher Montare.

They told me that Kona only had two 07 Dew Deluxes so far and one was the size I needed. Im 5'9" so I got a 56. Does that sould like the right size. They had a 58 but I think that would be to big. Im use to riding a med mountain bike.

It is the 2007. Ive been on a few rides already and I love this thing. I want to change out the handlebars as they are super narrow. I like em wide.... my bars that is.

Lucky!

My wife just tried to get one of the 07 Dews and they said December at the earliest. She ended up with a closeout 05 Dew Deluxe. Doesn't look as good as the 07, but nice spec. She did swap the H-bars for some On-One Marys.

That should turn out to be a great bike, congrats.

I just did my first century this past Saturday at So Cal's MS 150 I was completely untrained for it, and was owned by a guy riding a roaded out rigid mountain bike with slicks. 100 miles on that bike was amazing, almost beyond belief.

Im loving the Kona. I have a pair of old DH bars, Ea70, that are gonna go on it pretty soon. I hate the narrow bars. I also put a set of fenders on it so I can ride it this winter and stay in shape.
