The weather was perfect on Sunday for a long road ride though lower NY state. It was a 4 mile ride to the state line and it was all backroad. The ride took me past orchards, wineries, and corn fields. I arrived in the historic village of Warwick. Warwick has a small store for just about anything you could want and has a farmers market on the weekends too. On my ride home I took a different route that passes pacem in terris. A meditation garden of sorts, an old artist Frederick Franck made it back in the 40s I think. He also has made a bunch of other pieces that are around the world. I always enjoy walking around there so i snapped some pictures. If you are ever in the Orange County, NY area do your best to stop there.
