Today, BigT and I did a road ride. We decided to ride the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail from Farmington to Simsbury and back using a different route. We park the truck, unload the bikes and start riding. We get to a section, and we can't figure out where the bike path is. We ask where we are, and we're not in the place I thought we were. It seems we were doing the route in reverse of the way I wanted. Once we figure that out where we are, we know where to go.
Some parts were "stone dust" (read gravel) and a little difficult on the road bikes. We got lost once again, and then found ourselves. There were parts of the trail that were really crowded, and some where we were the only ones as far as we could see.
No real riding pictures, but some shots of some things we saw.
Hot chick taking a picture
Some shots of fast water
A small house by the river
A dam picture

Should have brought the CX bike. Wait, we don't have CX bikes!
Outside a flower shop
Tower on a hill
We passed a guy riding his bike, pulling a trailer with his dog in the back. I didn't get a picture, but I wish I had.
