I'm wanting to upgrade to a carbon fork but from what I've read, I can't run a Thompson because the clamping mech doesn't mix well with a carbon steerer. Can someone tell me who makes a stem with a double pinch bolt center clamp? Thanks...

Specialized makes a pretty nifty system that works well with carbon, and uses a system of tapered shims to perfect your fit.

According to the www.lhthomson.com you can use their stems on carbon steertubes. I'm going to use mine on my cyclocross bike.
