The wife and I are heading to colorado springs tonight with a stop in St Louis. Looks like we might pass through some rain. Is there anything on the bikes that I need to cover? I have taken the computers off. Should I cover the saddles?

I usually try not to get the alternator wet. Covering it with a plastic bag helps.

i'd cover the grips if they aren't the lock on kind. or you didn't use shoe goo or something to put them on with.

why not just take the seats off and put them inside the car/truck? take the seat post clamp too, so you don't loose it on the road.

I wouldn't worry about anything. You took off the electrical crap. Water will come out of the seats REAL fast once you sit on them.

BTW-

I heard your request on 99x today. Good pick. Steve said your name with a little sarcasm. I would take that as a compliment. I wonder if the things they say about him are true?

I was thinking about plastic bags on the seats. Maybe if the rain get real bad I will stop just have to see.

Bummer I missed the request. I put that in end of the week before last. I requested that last year. Did he say crackerkorean or my real name?

I just hope the weather cooperates while we are in colorado. Pictures to come.
