Rock Shox Dual Position Air forks - can I jump in lowered mode?

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of getting the 2014 Lyrik DPA - but instead of using the low travel mode for climbs only, I'd like to ride it most of the time and use full travel occasionally at steeper descents. Will I have any issues with it? I'll probably do lots of jumps and rough stuff.

I've heard it may get more linear and bottom-out easily, can I use the bottomless tokens as a remedy for it?

And by the way, did anyone have any issues with DPA? I'm thinking if its higher complexity does not result in more failures or maintenance issues (than a normal Solo Air)...

Can't speak for the dual position air, but the dual-position coil rides just fine w/ it in lowered mode. It's how i mostly ride mine.
